Safer for you: It stops rugs and mats curling at the corners or pushing up against furniture, so it reduces the risk of slips and trips.

Dual layer for double protection: It has two separate layers specially developed and stitched together to create the best anti-slip and anti-creep performance. The grey side stops it slipping on smooth floors. They black side stops it creeping on carpets.

It’s so easy to fit. It needs no specialist skill, knowledge or equipment to fit the Protect and Care underlay. You simply clean you floor, cut the underlay to the size you need and put the rug or mat on top: easy. Plus larger or unusual shapes need no splicing or taping of underlay: you just lay them side by side.

The science bit: Protect and Care Underlay is made from a specially formulated water-based pressure-sensitive dry adhesive coating that outperforms underlays coated with a plain polymeric-acrylic resin. 

Safe and secure. It’s odourless, breathable and harmless to all rugs, mats and floors. Plus it’s safe to use with underfloor heating under 32°C. Our underlay keeps rugs and mats in place but you can reposition the underlay at any time, for example when cleaning or changing the layout of your room
